Joining The Healing Loft as a Reiki Master Practitioner
Some announcements feel like a natural next step. This one feels like both a homecoming and a beginning.
I am delighted to share that I am joining The Reiki School of Energy Healing / The Healing Loft as a new member Reiki Master Practitioner. After more than 30 years of holistic exploration in natural health, aromatherapy, yoga and Tai Chi, I am grateful to bring Reiki, doTerra AromaTouch, distance healing, and upcoming AromaReiki offerings to clients in this next chapter.
This work has been shaped over time, through steady practice, ongoing study, and meaningful experiences, including visits to Mount Kurama in Japan, a place closely connected with the roots of Reiki, and Level 4 Master Practitioner training. Joining this community feels like a beautiful way to continue sharing the healing practices that have been part of my life for so long.

A new chapter rooted in long practice
Reiki is often described as a gentle energy healing practice that supports relaxation, balance, and a sense of calm. For many people, it becomes a quiet pause in the middle of busy or stressful seasons. Sessions are usually calm, simple, and deeply personal.
My path into this work did not begin overnight. It grew through decades of learning about the body, the senses, breath, movement, and natural approaches to well-being. Yoga offered an early foundation in presence and awareness. Aromatherapy opened another doorway, showing how scent can help create a grounded, supportive atmosphere. Natural health practices added a wider appreciation for how people care for themselves in body, mind, and spirit.
Reiki brought these threads together in a clear and meaningful way.
Joining The Healing Loft as a Reiki Master Practitioner allows me to share that experience in a setting dedicated to energy healing, education, and care. It is an honor to become part of a space where people come to rest, reconnect, and receive support.
This post is for informational purposes only. Reiki and aromatherapy are complementary wellness practices and are not substitutes for medical treatment, diagnosis, or mental health care.
Reiki sessions offered in person
Standard in-person Reiki sessions are available for those who feel drawn to hands-on or hands-near energy work in a calm setting. During a session, the recipient remains fully clothed, usually resting on a treatment table. The practitioner may place hands lightly on or above different areas of the body, depending on comfort and style of practice.
The experience is quiet and noninvasive. Some people notice warmth, tingling, emotional release, or deep relaxation. Others simply feel stillness. There is no single “right” response to Reiki. Each session can feel different, even for the same person.
In-person Reiki may be a good fit for those who want:
A peaceful pause away from daily routines
Time to rest without needing to talk through everything
Gentle energetic support during life transitions
A grounding practice alongside other self-care routines
A calm, caring space to reconnect with themselves
The intention is simple: to create a supportive environment where the nervous system can soften and the whole person can feel held.

Aromatherapy and AromaTouch offerings
Alongside Reiki, I am also offering dōTERRA AromaTouch Technique and Consultations. AromaTouch is a structured essential oil application technique designed to create a soothing, sensory experience. It uses selected essential oils applied along the back and feet in a specific sequence.
AromaTouch can be especially meaningful for people who respond well to scent, touch, and ritual. The atmosphere matters, and essential oils can help mark the shift from “doing” into “receiving.” Even before a session begins, the aroma can invite the body to slow down.
Consultations are also available for those who want more personalized guidance around essential oils. These conversations may cover preferences, sensitivities, daily routines, and safe, thoughtful use. Aromatherapy is powerful because scent is personal. An oil that one person finds comforting may feel too strong to someone else. A good consultation respects that individuality.
Upcoming AromaReiki offerings will bring these two practices together. This combined approach will draw from the calming presence of Reiki and the sensory support of aromatherapy. More details will be shared as these sessions become available.

Distance Reiki for remote support
Distance Reiki is also available for those who are not able to attend in person or who prefer to receive from home. Many people appreciate remote Reiki because it allows them to settle into a familiar space, use their own blankets or pillows, and rest immediately afterward.
A distance session may include a scheduled time, a brief check-in, quiet receiving time, and a follow-up reflection. The format can vary, but the heart of the session remains the same: creating a calm, focused space for Reiki support.
Remote sessions can be especially helpful when travel is difficult, schedules are tight, or someone simply feels more at ease in their own environment. They also make offerings more accessible to clients beyond the immediate local area.
For a distance session, it can help to prepare by:
Choosing a quiet place where you will not be disturbed
Turning off notifications when possible
Having water nearby
Using a blanket, pillow, or eye covering for comfort
Giving yourself a few minutes afterward before returning to tasks
Small preparations can make the session feel more intentional and restful.
A connection to Mount Kurama and Reiki tradition
Visiting Mount Kurama in Japan was a meaningful part of my personal and spiritual journey. Mount Kurama is widely associated with Mikao Usui and the origin story of Reiki. While every practitioner’s path is unique, standing in a place linked to the tradition added depth, reverence, and gratitude to my own practice.
Training and experience matter, but so does humility. Reiki invites listening. It asks the practitioner to remain present, grounded, and respectful of each person’s needs. That spirit is central to how I approach every session.
Level 4 Master Practitioner training has strengthened my commitment to practice with care and integrity. It has also deepened my appreciation for Reiki as both a personal discipline and a service to others.
